St Canice’s Cathedral maintains a variety of facilities in order to provide a welcoming environment for all visitors, including a gift shop, toilets, and wheelchair access. Information leaflets are available in over 15 different languages. Guided tours are also available by booking in advance (see Group Bookings).
Parking
At present there are no parking facilities in the vicinity of the Cathedral. Plans are in hand for a visitor car park. Coach parking and other general parking is available on Dean Street, and at other convenient locations in the city.Disabled
The Council have provided a disabled parking bay just outside the Cathedral gates at the Cathedral entrance at the top of the hill on Coach Road.The surface of the grounds is wheelchair and buggy suitable.
There is a ramp and no steps to gain access in and around the Cathedral.
There are no disabled toilet facilities.
